The HSA conference is Australia's keynote event focused on bridging the gap between medical, educational and social issues and exploring the complexities of living with hydrocephalus.
In 2021, due to the limitations around COVID-19, our extensive program will be delivered virtually and totally online, and we have an amazing program lined up with incredible speakers.
This year’s program covers topics of interest to all members of the hydrocephalus community, whether you are a parent of a child with hydrocephalus, a young person or adult living with hydrocephalus, or a member of our extensive community network.
The conference program includes:
- Educational sessions from medical specialists
o Acquired and normal pressure hydrocephalus
o Congenital hydrocephalus in children
o Wellbeing: Living with a chronic condition
o Supporting memory and activities of daily living for people living with hydrocephalus
- Research updates from recognised experts
o Designing a pressure sensor for the brain
o Australasian Shunt Registry
- Connection sessions with like-minded people
o Group support sessions on both days
All times listed are in AEDT.
