Research
The Hydrocephalus Support Association plays a critical role in advancing research studies. Our association recognises the need for innovative solutions, improved treatments, and ultimately, a cure for hydrocephalus. By actively participating in research studies, we can contribute valuable insights, data, and resources that drive scientific discovery forward. Through collaborative efforts with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders, we aim to enhance understanding of the condition, identify effective interventions, and ultimately improve outcomes for individuals living with hydrocephalus.
The Kitea Sensor
In the dynamic realm of medical technology, Kitea Health, under the guidance of Simon Malpas, is at the forefront of developing groundbreaking sensor technology poised to revolutionize care for individuals with hydrocephalus.
The Shunt Registry
The Australasian Shunt Registry is a bi-national clinical quality registry established with the aim of improving safety and quality of care for patients with hydrocephalus and related conditions by monitoring and analysing shunt procedures performed throughout Australasia.
