Meet Our New Brainy Buddy! Colouring-In & Naming Competition | Hydrocephalus Awareness Month

1. Eligibility & Key Dates

• Open to children aged 3 to 14 years who are residents of Australia or New Zealand.

• Only one entry per child is permitted. Entry is free and no purchase or donation is required.

• Entries close 11:59pm (AEST), 30 September 2025. The prize draw will take place on 11 October 2025 at 9:00am AEST.

• HSA reserves the right to request proof of age or residency and may disqualify entries that are incomplete, late, misleading, or otherwise breach these Terms.

• Employees, contractors, or committee members of HSA (and their immediate families) are not eligible to enter.

2. How to Enter

• To enter, colour in Brainy Buddy and create a fun, clever name.

• Submit your entry via the entry form at https://hydrocephalus.org.au/news/colouring-in

• By submitting, the parent/guardian confirms they consent to participation, accept these Terms & Conditions, and acknowledge personal information will be used solely for competition administration per HSA’s Privacy Policy.

• HSA takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or unable to be delivered due to technical or transmission issues.

3. Prize

• 1x $100 Smiggle Voucher (Digital).

• Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

4. Judging & Winners

• This is a skills-based competition. Entries will be judged on creativity, effort, and originality by the HSA Committee.

• The Committee’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• Winners’ parent/guardian will be contacted by email using the details supplied on entry.

• The winner’s first name and age will be published on the HSA website and social media on 11 October 2025 (after 9:00am AEST).

• If a winner’s parent/guardian cannot be contacted within 14 days, or declines the prize, HSA may select an alternative winner.

5. Use of Entries & General Conditions

• By submitting an entry, the parent/guardian gives permission for their child’s first name, age, and artwork to be displayed on the HSA website, social media, and promotional materials.

• The parent/guardian grants HSA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display submitted names and artwork for promotional, marketing, or fundraising purposes (with credit), including in future Brainy Buddy promotions and products.

• HSA reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any that breach these Terms, tamper with the entry process, or are deemed offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, HSA excludes all liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with this competition or any prize.
